Event Transfers
We understand that plans can change, so here are your options for transferring your registration for the King’s Runner 10k. Please review the details below:
Transfer Options
1. Transfer to Another Participant
- You can transfer your King’s Runner 10k entry to another individual for a $30 transfer fee, payable by the new participant
- Initiate your transfer through the ‘Manage My Booking‘ page
- Then select ‘Transfer‘ and ‘Transfer to a friend’
2. Switch to the Virtual Event
- Participants may transfer their in-person King’s Runner 10k entry to the Virtual King’s Runner 10k
- Initiate your transfer through the ‘Manage My Booking‘ page
- Select ‘Transfer‘ and then ‘Transfer to another event‘

Important Notes
- The deadline for transfers is February 23 at 11:59PM HST
Refund Protection
All race entries are non refundable unless refund protection was purchased as an add on during registration.
To initiate a refund claim, follow the link in your confirmation email or on your
Manage Registration page.
Refunds claims are not handled by the Honolulu Marathon, but by the Refund Protect Group, and the Honolulu Marathon cannot influence or change or influence any decisions by Refund Protect.
Refund Protect Group consider the following reason, subject to their General Conditions of Refund:
- Illness / Injury (including Covid)
- Pre-existing Medical Condition
- Pregnancy Complication
- Death of an Immediate Family Member
- Public Transport Failure
- Flight Disruption
- Transport Breakdown
- Severe Weather
- Home Emergency
- Theft of Documents
- Workplace Redundancy
- Jury Service
- Court Summons
- Armed Forces & Emergency Services Recall
- Relocated for Work
- Changes to Examination Dates
